Apparently the impending divorce of the Hogans is not, as many people thought, myself included, a publicity stunt.

You can read about it here:

I notice on a few different episodes when Hogan kind of mildly bitched at his wife telling her that she doesn't understand the concept of money or an appreciation for it. I see it over and over again how these guys marry these girls early on based more so on physical attraction than anything else, and then don't take the proper amount of time to court each other to really figure out what each other's upbringing and habits are. They get married, spoil them like you wouldn't believe, and then it all hits them at one time when they are "trapped" deep into the relationship that isn't as real and true as it seems, because it's based on "security" more than anything else.

This very same thing happened to my father with his now 3rd wife, and now he's stuck into a marriage where he has to walk around in denial and thinks that she loves him, when in fact she really only loves the security that he provides her. And deep down he knows this, but will never admit it to anybody or even himself.

Guys, find a woman who's independent enough, who has a purpose, goals, and can very well provide for herself if she needs to. A woman who doesn't love you so much for making her life easier, nearly as much as she loves you because she simply loves sharing her life with you, and you with her.

And that's all I have to say about that!

Yeah and that's what I'm saying. People don't take enough time with each other to figure out whether or not you can really relate and talk to another. Having things in common is good too. Although I believe that having too much in common could be a bad thing in a relationship in the long-term.

Ok, well sorry for going off on a tangent.

A publicity stunt or is it a way to save the Hogan's fortunes for the upcoming court case where Nick wrecked the car and his friend is in the hospital. Meaning a potential lawsuit in the future.

If his wife gets a portion of his money, then part of the Hogan's fortunes will be saved. If she get's custody of Nick, will she be responsible for the results of his car accident or will Hogan?

If they both have legal custody then they will be both be liable for Nick's actions.

I thought they may be divorcing to save money from possible suits but it may not matter because they were both married when it happened so they will both more than likely be liable anyway.
