I have watched the Young and the Restless since it began. The Bold and the Beautiful captured my attention time and again, but last year with the Brooke-Ridge and Brooke and everyone else storyline, I became a true fan. The others I am just now getting into.

To be honest - when I was a newlywed and a stay at home wife, I would do the shopping, etc around The Young and The Restless...my late husband was not really amused by that.

I like to watch Guiding Light because it comes on at nap time. I can do some beadwork and watch it. I've watched Bold and the Beautiful off and on.

I have a DVR now so record Guiding light every day just in case something comes up at that time.

I used to record the soaps back in the days of the VCR, I would record them all and watch them when I got home from work. It was amazing how many recordings I could get on one tape and how many times a VCR would record. I had one VCR that just kept on ticking, it recorded things 7 days a week in fact, I had different tapes that were labeled with the programs and more then one for the soaps of course.

Things are alot easier now with the TIVO.

Oh that is right - Victor's wife was Julia back then. She had an affair with a photographer named Michael. Victor got jealous and lured Michael into his basement and got him into a room that he couldn't escape from.

Paul - the now private detective - was looking for some money as his daughter with Heather (April) was very sick. Victor paid him to look after Michael. I believe he said he was a cousin of his and he was crazy. Victor told Paul not to believe him (Michael) when he said he was a photographer......

Paul never reported this and has never mentioned it....??? Oh well - he still doesn't know it was Phyllis that tried to kill him and Christine before they got married.

I have watched Y&R for many many years. I remember Jill's mother Liz being on there and David Hasseloff. I loved that guy who was the assistant to Jill- David Kimball. He does some weekend gig on the entertainment show on CBS or NBC.

that character was so bad it was good. Eva longoria was on that show and her son's father Paul has never mentioned him.

I remember Paul's detective place when he and Andy and the other people were there and he got the job to do Cassandra's place. those were fun times on the show. When Brad was a pool boy and Christine, Lauren and Tracy were hanging around with Danny - who is due back later this month for the opening of the magazine.
