Thank-you so much for sharing the photo of your doll. She is lovely! I just love the fabric for her dress and collar. Did you make her little bag as well? It looks, in the photo, like you used lace for her hair, is that correct? If so, what a nice idea, it gives a nice effect and adds to the overall effect of the doll.

Hi, I have one doll right now, she is a Victorian Rose Collection Doll and from my research they are cheap porcelain dolls. I was inspired by Michele Hamilton's Sewing Victorian Doll Clothes. I found her at our local Salvation Army for $5. Her original dress was hunter green satin with some cheap lace layered on top. I unstitched her dress to draft a pattern from it.
