This time of year can do a number on our skin leaving it looking less than radiant. To keep it looking it's best make sure you are using:
Gentle cleanser twice a day and patting dry Light moisturizer in the A.M. and a richer formula at night including your neck. Exfoliate 2-3 times per week with a gentle exfoliater
I'm a terrible exfoliater and I definitely need it but I'm lucky if I do it once a week. Is there such a think as an exfoliator without grainy things in them? Is that a silly question? I always seem to have some kind of residue no matter what product I try. I use to use a scrubby pad 'thingy' but then I read they are one of the worse things for your skin.
Mary Kay has a wonderful exfoliator, best I have every used. It is there microdermabrasion cleanser. It has ground fine pieces that don't hurt and scratch, however, your skin does get a little red and can peel depending on skin type.
I definitely need more moisturizer in the winter time! I use a cream instead of just a lotion on my face and then a really good hand cream for dry hands. In the summer I don't have any problem with dry skin.
We have a high humidity here in the summer so find I have to go without a moisturizer during the day but I usually lube up with an oil free one at night.
In the winter I find there are days I need a little more. I use a yonka one seems to have done the trick this year.
