(Please excuse the typo in the Poll frown )
The longest my hair has ever been is about elbow length - and I should have stopped a little before that because the ends were all split. I think that the terminal length for my hair is about 2 inches above my elbows.

My hair was at it's longest when I was about 9 or 10. I decided to cut it because I was kind of old for mom to be doing my hair (in my opinion) and I had a hard time doing it myself. It was easier to control when it was shorter. Right now I am at about shoulder length, but the length varies between there and about 4 inches longer.

Mine has just reached my shoulders. I have had it short for years and probably look better with it short but I'm tired of it that way.

My hair is mid-back length, and I'm glad it's finally there and healthy! I love having long, shiny hair, and I work hard with my stylist with maintenance and products to keep it that way! It's hard having fine, blonde hair because the second you let it go, even just for a couple months it looks horrible. I believe in quality hair products, and TLC!

Rosie,
You didn't vote in the poll did you? It sounds like you could mark hip length.

And.. as I posted in the other thread, I think you should shorten your hair. Neck problems are something that you should not ignore. Even if you shortened it to mid-back.

HI,
My hair was knee length when I was a kid. I prefer it long. But it is not that long now. Right now it is a few inches past my shoulders. It is wavy/curly. I don't look good in real short hair. My hair has layers now & looks better than a 1 length cut. It is getting healthy again. I used to dye it for yrs. I'm trying not to do that for awhile.

My hair is on the dry side. But I think some of that is due to illness & maybe medications. Judy K. Chicago.

I cut off 10-12 inches of my hair every two years or so for Locks of Love in honor of the boyfriend I lost to leukemia at the age of 15. I don't dye it, I don't style it, I barely ever blowdry or curl it. Mostly it's just pulled back, but I don't care if I'm stylish or not!

I do clean up really nice, though, and when I actually style my hair, it is SOOO beautiful! In fact, I've had complete strangers tell me how pretty my hair is, so I'm very vain about it. It's the only thing about my body I like, though, so I think that justifies my vanity!

O.K LYNNE I just voted, i know your right about cutting my hair. but i would have to cover all the mirrors in the salon and they won't let me do that,
lol
I have such low self esteem I can not sit there and look at my self in a mirror. any ideas on how to chop it off myself with out looking like a total idiot. i mess up my bangs all the time thank goodness they grow back.
