I need a pendant for my Omega necklace, I'm told it needs to be a "Slide"
What is the difference?

A slide typically has a wider opening and is often on the back of the "pendant" as opposed to being on the top. Another neat thing to do is to use a brooch as a slide.

Usually, traditional pendants are designed with a bale to fit most size chains.
Slides are usually made with a wider opening to fit "omega" and larger "flat" chains. It's basically just semantics.
