I've been having a series of dreams in which I must climb up ladders or staircases and squeeze through small openings to go where I am supposed to go. The openings tend to get less and less accomodating as the dream progresses till I finally say I can't go any further.
Any ideas? (No, I'm not putting on a lot of weight, although Christmas is coming and with it all the goodies! )

Do you have any exams or tests coming up? Not even necessarily school (I can't think whether you're taking college courses right now), but something for work even.

It seems like there's something that you are moving towards, but are worried about. Promotion, maybe?

Ladder

Alternatively, you may be literally trying to "knock" this person down to size. Perhaps it suggests that you or someone in your life has an inflated ego and need to be taught a lesson.

Tunnel
To see a tunnel in your dream, represents the [censored], womb, and birth. Thus it may refer to a need for security and nurturance. To dream that you are going through a tunnel, suggests that you are exploring aspects of your unconscious. You are opening yourself to a brand new awareness. Alternatively, it indicates your limited perspective. To see the light at the end of a tunnel, symbolizes hope.

ok the Ladder/stairs are basicly the same you are climing up to a new level for something either spiritual, business, personal, emotional, mental school what ever...

the Small Space combo could be that you are trying to make whatever into something more manageable or you or limiting you views... (i hope that makes sense...!)

or if you feel like you are in a tunnel that keeps getting smaller maybe you feel like you have been going through a series of births and rapped changes and it is getting harder for you to change.
