This is blatant risk taking behavior, leaving a child unsupervised in a car, whether it is running or not. Parents need to remember cars are not safe for children to be in and around alone.

Yes I agree that it is a lack of responsibility by any guardian to leave a precious child especially under the age of 10 in a car alone and I would like people to stop doing it too. Children are gifts from God and when you have one in your life you are supposed to be responsible I feel. Leaving a child in a car for your convenience isn't responsible when it puts that child at risk. If you have to wake a child up to get that one item in the store do so, it might just save a whole lot of stress later on.
