Waiting for Cranford to make it here to the US--I've heard nothing but high praise for it. It was written by Elizabeth Gaskell who also wrote the novel North and South which was adapted for Brit TV as well and it was marvelous. With Richard Armitage in the lead role, how could it go wrong? You know with Judi Dench in Cranford it will be a high quality production.
