I love to make toys.
I love the challenge in getting them to do something more than just sit.
Right now my thing is the Bratz Dolls. I've designed outfits for the Large Baby Bratz, Small 4-1\2" (a challenge there) Baby Bratz and the Fashion Bratz doll.
Any one else with a passion to make soemthing?

I like making the amigurmi dolls and animals and just crocheting stuffed toy pets... I also make rattles that are fun

The bunny is a rattle.

I brushed out the yarn after I crocheted the dog to make it look like fur.

Sue - I love the furry dog. Did you use a special yarn to brush out?

What sort of stuffing is best for crocheted dolls?

OMG, Those are so cute ! I have seen patterns on the net but never clicked on it to see what they look like. They look like a regular stuufed animal, I mean they don't look crocheted. Are they hard to make?

I just used the Boucle Brushed Salt n Pepper Yarn that is 90% Acrylic and 10% Polyester. Mocha's face was created with a soft Ivory 100% Acrylic yarn. The pic shows what Mocha's body looked like before I brushed him out! Just like a poodle really. I used a soft brush and brushed every which way to free the long fibers in the yarn.

I use the stuffing that is in little clumps that is washable.

I don't think these are hard to make. The hardest part is getting legs to be same size. Just a difference in tension changes the shape and size.

here is a unicorn I made out of mohair yarn.
