Has anyone seen the 80s show Hart to Hart? They didn't have any kids. It was a cool show. I remember watching it at my grandparents' house after school.

I wrote an article about it awhile back:

I watched a show the other night, "The King of Hearts"... (I think)
A couple in their mid 30s - early 40s roughly - with no kids - her father lives with them. In this episode, a couple move next door with 7 kids and one on the way - the wife walks back into their home and says, "Great, the Osmond family have moved next door" - there were other comments that made me think they were CF. Its an American show - have you heard of it?

I think the show you saw was The King of Queens. It ended last spring... guess what the big series finale story was?

King of Queens - that's right...
Oh, great....spoke too soon.
Now that I think about it - does anyone remember the series, "Murphy Brown"?
Murphy Brown was a highly charged single career woman in her 40s and they even had to write a pregnancy into that series....these people/writers have no imagination.

I almost put murphy brown but i remembered she had a baby and that killed the show...no one could see her as a mother and the handy man... Alex? maybe gay? i dont remember what that line was but he was more of a mother-father figure then she was..and that killed the ratings.... i think...

Dr. Phil irritated me last week. It was about women who wanted to get pregnant no matter what. I just don't think wanting a baby justifies doing anything to get one. I guess I'm just not understanding enough. I still can't help thinking though that maybe infertility happens because nature is trying to regulate humanity a little? Is that a bad thought to have? I don't want to be mean.

Tress, I agree with you. I've always wondered if infertility with no known causes (illness, injury, etc.) was maybe part of mother nature's way of keeping population in check. You never know.

Most of the characters in Chuck don't have kids. Of course, maybe it's just a matter of time.

I was disappointed by Scrubs because now everyone has babies. It was like the writers just said, "well, gotta throw some babies in there now."
