Do you suffer from dry skin? I know I do. Here's a homemade recipe for a dry skin that I found recently.

A Natural Skin Care Solution Re-Moisturizing Mask
1 tbsp buttermilk or yogurt
1 egg yolk
1/2 tsp honey
1 tsp mayonnaise
Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl until they form a smooth paste.
Apply to clean dry skin on the face and neck and leave for 15-20 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with plenty of warm water and pat dry.
This richly moisturizing natural skin care solution contains lecithin from the egg yolk, which helps lock moisture into the skin. In addition, the buttermilk or yogurt contains lactic acid which is also an excellent natural moisturizer and with regular use can help to fade age spots.

Hope this helps!

Thanks so much! I'm going to try this. The winter weather is terrible on my skin.

Another good thing to try for dry skin is Coconut Oil. It can be used for all skin types and leaves the skin soft, plus helps fight acne, aging and sun damage.

Plus it's far less expensive than creams and lotions you buy.

Dry skin can be mediated if not prevented. First off, having a balanced diet and keeping our bodies hydrated can be a good start. What we eat will be reflected with the condition of our skin. Of course, having a balanced diet brings out the best from our skin. Moisturizing is also essential, or maybe using baby oil for those with extremely dry skin. Soaps with harsh ingredients can also cause for the skin to dry.
