Why in the world would anyone take and infant on a cruise to the freakin' Bahamas!?!?!? Aren't you supposed to do that stuff pre- spawn or post- finding a babysitter for a school aged + kid?

The woman's an idiot.

Whatever happened to personal responsibility. Not expecting the world to carry around baby formula for you, for example.

Yes, Myrabeth, the woman is an idiot.

Some of the responses to the letter were really funny! I couldn't believe that she would even think it was their responsibility to carry forumla. What a selfish brat.

I wonder if they even dignified her complaint with a response...

i've been on a few cruises and i couldn't imagine bringing on infant. i mean besides the expecting other people to help which is ridiculous what in the world would a baby get out of it anyway! i can see bringing older kids b/c at least the cruises i've been on have a wonderful kids program but it's usually for kids 4 and up. i would hate to have a wailing infant on the cruise esp.if i had to sit at the same table. this year we're going on a cruise at the end of march to celebrate our 10 yr. wedding anniversary.i we purposely picked a time where there shouldn't be too many kids b/c it's not a holiday.i would never travel during a school holiday!

OMG, some people should really not reproduce. Now there will be another idiot (the baby) running around in the world thinking she can take HER child wherever she wants.

It sounds like the mother wasn't having very much fun either. Nice vacation! Maybe she should sue them because her baby was crying so much because she didn't have formula, and she couldn't enjoy herself.

Speaking of refunds I wonder if all the couples that were there on honeymoons, once in a lifetime vacations, retirement celebrations, etc. can get refunds from YOU for every time your crying baby interupted their vacation. Sounds fair to me. You want carnival to pay you for you inconvienance (which was your fault by the way) I think you should pay for theirs.

I posted, too. What an IDIOT mother, expecting a refund from Carnival after spilling formula.

I agree, taking an infant on a cruise is just foolish...you can't expect EVERYONE to carry baby formula. And plus, whatever happened to being aware of the fact that it's an inconvenience, not only for the mother, but for everyone else on that cruse hoping to have a good time on their vacation?
