Hi there,

I decided to write about my internal debate about how much planning is too much. I hate structure but I love the security of knowing where I'll be sleeping every night.

Hope it gives you food for thought. Here are the links:

Does Planning Your Trip Save Money? No.

Does Planning Your Trip Save Money? Yes.

Hope you like these. Which one is your travel style?

Cheers,

I definitely like to plan as much as possible. On our last trip, I had our itinerary for the entire trip typed and ready to go prior to leaving our home. I had made reservations for many restaurants and events and bought quite a few event tickets online. This saved a lot of time by not having to wait in the ticket line when we got there.

I like planning ahead because otherwise we tend to waste time sitting around in the hotel room trying to decide what we want to do.
