This is a chicken and egg question...
I am frustrated and aware that we go through stretches of days or weeks in our household where we will break lots of glass. Drinking glasses, wine glasses, dishes it doesn't seem to matter. Fortunately not windows so much anymore. We will also go for long stretches of months where there are no breaks... this to assure you that we are not predisposed to general clumsiness!
Is it possible that our breaking times are somehow connected to some shift in energy or mood? I don't think it's the other way around as I don't start out being mad and then breaks happen... but I sure get that way after three or four in a row in a couple of days! I've written before about how mechanical disasters seem to cluster... but that's another story.
Any ideas? Anyone share this annoying occurance? crazy

Hi Trishh, great to hear from you smile

It is so cool that you pose this question as I asked myself exactly the same thing last night! I'm not especially clumsy and go for months and months at a time without breakage. A few days ago I broke a wine glass and last night an egg timer. As I swept up glass for the second time in a week I wondered whether there was something symbolic in it! I haven't had the light dawn yet- anyone else got ideas?

Maybe it creates a necessary change in vibration?

I think it has to do with vibrations around the house, I would suggest getting unbreakable dishes if you prefer not to change anything. Otherwise the family should meditate and become more aware of energies, motions, and emotions that occur around the time of glass breakage. Chioshealing.com is a good website to guide through meditation and awareness of energy. This glass breaking phenomenon is not symbolic, it just happens for a reason you are not aware of and you can learn to control it.

I personally went through a spree of breaking amethysts - which have a hardness scale of 7 out of 10...aka very hard to break. I broke 4 in as many months.

A friend of mine is a feng shui master. She mentioned that I was probably in a mental turmoil, and the energy that I was creating was breaking the amethysts. (they are also associated with the third eye and top chakra) Granted I was going through an emotional drawn out nasty break up with my first lover, but it just seemed too easy of an answer.

I realize that amethysts aren't glass....but glass is made up of silica, another kind of rock...has anyone looked up the metaphysical properties of that?
