Hi everyone!
A reader recently e-mailed me and asked what middle names were a good match to the first name Bella.
What do you think?

Bella Maria? Bella Mia?
Sorry, it's the only thing that comes to mind.

Bella Rose might be nice. I'd suggest avoiding middle names that start with vowels or end in a matching "a" sound. (Sorry moe.)

Funny, I also immediately thought "Bella Maria". Rose is nice too. Bella Jane? Bella Natalie? Bella Emmanuelle? Bella Noelle? (Uh oh, I think the season is getting to me early!)

Actually Bella Noelle is a beautiful name, Elle.
Bella Donna? Bella Noche? (sticking with an Italian theme there)
How about Bella Online? Oh, that one is taken, I guess. lol.
It would be easier too if we had a last name to go with to see how the whole name flows but I know you cannot do that for privacy issues.

LOL, I'd avoid Bella Donna though - it's the Latin name for Deadly Nightshade. I like Bella Noelle too - the theme was developing starting from Natalie and Emmanuelle... thought I'd stop at Noelle!

Well, see I'm personally fond of Bella Harmony "Bella" means "beautiful" right? How about Bella Fleur, which would be Beautiful Flower. Of course I really liked Bella Aria, Beautiful Song.

Thanks everyone! I'll email her with the new ideas.
Here are some of the suggestions I emailed to her the other day:
Camille Claire Elise Fiona Grace Juliana Leticia Patrice Reese Sage Simone Teresa
I'm not sure what her tastes are, or what her surname sounds like, so I think any other ideas you have would be great.

Nancy, I read over your list of suggestions. I love the sound of Bella Grace!
I write a little fiction now and then and am always on the look out for interesting name combinations for my characters (Who wants to read about "John and Jane Smith," you know?) Thanks for the ideas!
