I feel confidence in the results if I work sincerely.

I wish that worked for me. I've found that working sincerely does not always yield the desired results.

Work sincerely and with a defined goal.
The definition of sincerity can also be diff. for all of us.

...getting back to confidence, i'd be interested if anyone is willing to share an area where they feel confident, and one where they don't.

I usually feel confident in learning.

I often don't feel confident in succeeding.

If you learn well, you will succeed if you are lucky.

I always feel confident in posting.
I don't ever feel confident people will have the courtesy to reply.

Holly

I do not feel confident in teaching.

I do feel confident that I know my job, but to teach it to someone, not easy for me.

Well, what might we do about these areas where we dont feel so confident?

We should do what we are afraid of. That ought to bring confidence.

I agree, haridas. The more I teach, the more confident I am. Sue, you are confident that you know your job. Think of how you liked to be taught and use that as a guide. You will be good. We can teach, as well as the best teacher that we admired, when we use the same approach. smile

Holly, in areas where we don't feel confident, just keep doing it, because practice makes perfect, and that will chase fears away! laugh

Alex, have faith when you are confident in posting that someone will respond. wink
