Though I haven't confirmed it yet (going to get test tomorrow), I believe that I am the "p" word. I don't want to say/type it cause when I say something out loud, it comes true.

I have no wish to be um...the 'p' word. I already have one child, and it is the law that I must have at least 2 children befor I can get my tubes tied. Stupid law if you ask me. I don't want to have another child, we're barely making it as is. I haven't told him yet and I'm hesitant to do so.

Though pro-choice, I'm loathe to go to an abortion clinic. I'm trying to stay calm and cool, but once I hit the 2 month mark, I won't be able to hide it anymore. And then the poo will really hit the fan.

Is it the law??!! That is horrifying! I am sorry that you have to deal with this whole thing. Here is a hug of sincere support for you {{{{{{{Nelly}}}}}}}}}}}. Believe me, I have been where you are.

Being from Texas we always made jokes about Arkansas being backward, having heard that I have to wonder if its not true.

I was thirty when I had my tubes tied and the doctor gave me a hard time about it - I already had 3 and couldn't afford more. Although I would have had way more if I could have - I loved being pregnant and having babies around. Now my kids are teens and I am soooo glad I only have 3. Teens are difficult!

Ok, it's official. I am indeed pregnant. No I'm not happy about it. In fact I've been in a mild fog of panic since I took the home pregnancy test--though it was actually useless. I've been exhibiting the signs for almost 3 weeks. Nausea in the morning, breast tenderness, and others. Though the denial wasn't as bad as when I first got pregnant, things actually seem to worse this time around. I'm currently on the verge of passing out as it is. I'm exhausted and all I did was take a 15 minute walk!

I've already made up my mind on what to do. I just need to decide when. My father is going to be so upset with me... shoot, I'm upset with me!

I remember my first trimester was HELL, I slept in a heavey sleep easily 10-12 hours per day, I was still tired, took naps. My body was all out of whack. Morning sickness caused me to loose like 15 lbs, I was frantic me not being able to keep food down would hurt the baby, I could brush my teeth or take my vitamins for gaggin.

Right now, doing a pretty good job of keeping everything down (thank God) and I grab a nap when no one is looking. But I don't want to be pregnant. And I'm determined that friend nor family find out about it either. Unfortunately I have a stick figure, so I'll begin to show soon. Darn high metabolism...

I wish I had seen this sooner. It is not law in Arkansas that you must have two children to have your tubes tied. A doctor may sterilize whomever he pleases, but most doctors have a policy of not sterilizing a patient that is unmarried, under 30 or has fewer than two children.
