The things I find I absolutely need are a sharp wheel on my rotary cutter with the mat, new needles for the sewing machine, my color wheel, glass head pins, Mettler thread and some good sharp betweens for hand work. I also use a pair of small scissors that come in suture removal kits at work. They're supposed to be disposable but I can't see throwing away something so indispensible! I just disinfect them - they're the perfect size and so nice to use.
