Hello all

I'm doing some research and thought you might be able to add your input. I'm a Freedom Coach and I work with unfulfilled and spiritually awakening people to help create lives and businesses in alignment with their higher purpose - true Freedom.

I work heavily with practical application of spiritual laws for inner peace and greater fulfillment and my question is for people already walking this path. What challenges do you face in practically applying your spirituality to every day life? I'm genuinely interested to know so please input your contribution.

In love, light and abundance x x x

I face the daily challenge of learning that every single sentient being is a part of me, and I of them.
Other than that, I'm just fine - ! laugh

Alexandra leads a charmed live!!! laugh

I think my problem or one of my biggest is Thou shall not Judge others... I have no problem with people who are not of my faith they can think act or believe what ever they like. my problem is other christians who say God loves you and so do I just the way you are then try and change me into what they think god wants me to be. that and anyone who tries to convert me into something i dont want to be or that i am already... grrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!

I see the damage that this does to the belief system and to the kids that are taught this way. It is hard not to judge them when it is so wrong but then by judging them I am just as bad as they are. so I find myself judging my actions and feelings and round and round it goes...........Like a dog returning to eat its own volmit....yuck!

I wish!!!

But indeed, we're in agreement, freebubbles!
"Loving the World to me is no chore -
My big problem's the guy next door!"

We can all try really hard to develop Love and Compassion for 'The world at large' and seek within our hearts to embrace it universally by responding to the big media charity drives, and weeping at the starving and sick on our tv's and in our papers - yet we're still subject to road rage and rudeness, incivility and the deluded belief that we deserve first place and respect. Our hearts believe in Love and Compassion - our Egos, stating otherwise, dwell in the awful sentiment of "What's in it for me?"
For my part, whenever I find myself in a situation that risks bringing out the Dark Side of my Ego, I turn the question round and silently ask:
"What could be in it FOR YOU?"

Jeez! It's tough, I don't always succeed, but it becomes a habit the more you earnestly practise it......

Sure there's the whole discriminating others bit, but I've come to terms with the fact that even though I try to live a good life, that I sometimes slip, lose my cool and get hostile or downright nasty towards others especially when they dont' deserve it. I've chalked it up to two things: 1. hormonal medication and 2. humanity.

The real issue on my mind is pride. This I suppose is one of the challenges I face - rather moving beyond it. I'll explain. One form of pride for me is that when I feel overcome with emotion I often fight revealing it to others. Part of me feels it is a sign of weakness, even though I know its not. The other part of pride that I struggle with is that on the one hand I will often do for others without hesitation, but when it comes to asking others for help I am extremely hesitant (whether asking other people or asking deities).
