I never get that "Aaaawwww!" and "Ooooh!" feeling with kids. I used to pretend I was busy when people would bring their kids into the office to show them off. Of course, if I had no choice but to acknowledge the kids, I would give them a smile and a quick "hello" as to avoid any awkwardness. No one wants to be known as the wicked kid hater around the office! smile Hahaha.. HOWEVER, show me a dog or cat, and I'm all over 'em! They are the cutest, most loving creatures. They never talk back and love you unconditionally! I have a Chihuahua named Louie and he's my little boy. smile I don't hate kids, I just prefer not to have them or be around them.

I don't want to know how your breast pump works, where diapers are on sale, or another one of my friends' baby picture links.

I used to about babies but not anymore. I now feel relief that my one child is 10 and alot less work. I wouldn't want to go back for anything.

I ALWAYS have that reaction about cats and dogs. Today I was at Walgreens and a man was carrying a Dachsund, I went over and asked if I could pet his dog, he said yes. He was a sweet dog, loved the attention.

There is a lady at my work who I am pretty sure is CF. She's in her 40's and married, but has no children. She's always talking about her dog.

Last spring I was talking about my dog a while ago and showing her pictures, and we were sharing stories.

The next week, she says, "hey, I saw you guys walking downtown with Randall this weekend. The funny thing is I recognized the dog before I recognized you!" (We were bundled up.)

I thought that was funny, and we talk more about our dogs when we see each other than ourselves. This must be what having children is like ...
