On the main Budget Travel site I have posted an article about seeing TV and movie locations.
I'm not enough of a movie fan to seek out the locations of my favourites, but every now and then a bit of luck has fallen my way.
I used the IMDb.com website to discover that the pub in London where my great-grandmother lived from birth until her marriage was used in the movie Lock, Stock and Two Smokin' Barrels - what a hoot!
You can pay money to visit TV and movie studios but last time I checked, it was still free to walk around on the streets, whether they are famous or not ;-)
