I'm always reminded of Audrey Hepburn. I think it was a Gap commercial that was advertising skinny pants/jeans for awhile with her. Some old movie, but I always picture her dancing when I think of skinny jeans.

Jeans are made in all shapes and sizes. It has to feel good to wear, but most importantly, it has to look good. If you try a pair and don't like them, don't buy them. Be picky.

Have you noticed even the pictures of the women in the Lane Bryant catalog are thin. If i looked like that I wouldn't be looking through their catalog.

When I was skinny in high school ... those pants were HOT! We even "surf rolled" the legs of our jeans to make them as tight around the ankle as possible.

Now, I'm not that same skinny chic and I wouldn't be caught dead in a pair ... but they look great on my daughter who has legs as long as the day!!! wink

I agree, be picky and wear what looks great on YOU!

And whassup with SKINNY girls modeling fashions for plus-sized women?! Give me a break, as if those clothes fit a plus-sized woman THAT way? They don't. Bothers me!!!

I absolutely love them, and I've been wearing them tucked into flat boots paired with tunic-type sweaters. So comfy.

I agree, wear what looks good on you, I tell my daughters that all the time. Regular build girls shouldn't be wearing shirts that show their bellys, and NO ONE should be wearing a thong peeking out the back of their pants........... Wow, that was a really "mom" thing to say, huh.

HOT. But agree you need to be tall and lean to pull it off. Otherwise it looks shocking!!

Skinny jeans are meant to enhance the rear, and for those of us who don't need enhancing, or have short legs, this just does not look good. Guys actually look better in them.Seriously, I would love to be able to see where the guys asses start again. The just pooped your pants look doesn't do it for me. But not too tight either, unless you look like Jimmy Page. But that's another topic for another time. The verdict= Being short, with a large butt and skinny legs and then a small waist looks like you are trying to draw attention to the skinny legs and how skinny they are compared to the wide posterior!
