Throughout the years of wrestling, potential has always been a word thrown around for many wrestlers. Some have lived up to their hype while others have not. I was just curious as to who everyone on the boards found potential in in wrestling who either isn't seen much, or hasn't ever been really pushed. Even guys who have had a slight push, but have never gone far up in the card. This can be TNA, wwe, ROH, IWA or whatever.

I think RVD should have been pushed more over the years, the Big Show could have been pushed more than he was, especially in the WWE.
Heidenreich, definitely Cryme Tyme and I am sure there are others but will have to think about them.
Those are a few I can think of off the top of my head.

What made heidenreich & Cryme Tyme stand out in your opinion? Big Show imo, was pushed WAY more than he ever deserved. He came in with a huge push in both companies he worked for. He also ran some really good programs too.

Well, Cryme Tyme because they built them up with all of those vignettes and then nothing. They were there for comic relief mostly or to cause heat with certain wrestlers.
If I was the storyline writer, I would have had Cryme Tyme steal the tag team belts from whomever and then had Cryme Tyme force the champions to face them to get the belts back. At the end of the match, before Cryme Tyme got pinned or whatever, they would just leave the ring and take the belts with them again.
They could have done this for a couple of months and then finished things at a PPV.
Heidenreich got a slight push when he attempted to replace Hawk in the Legion of Doom but they could have done so much with him. Teamed him with Snitsky or someone and formed a crazy team.
"STRAIGHT FROM THE SANITARIUM!! HEIDENREICH AND SNITSKY!!"
Men in white coats could have escorted them down to the ring in straight jackets and Hannibal Lecter Masks.
Something should have been done differently.

So you truly feel those are three guys you could really have a strong company with? I never saw any of cryme times work, but with a racial gimmick, it seems to do nothing other than hold you back. So with that in mind, I can't say how I feel towards them. Heidenreich on the other hand is just a big guy that I see no point in finding potential.
When I think of potential & guys who never got much of a chance, I think of Daivari, Spanky, London, Christian. & it's hard to say because tna has utilized Christian, but they also forced him down everyones throats which ended up hurting them. Definitely not his fault. I still think Christian, if had time to prepare, could carry a company with some excellent to amazing matches.

Would have been nice to see Cryme Tyme win a title at least once.
Spanky and London are getting their push now and I think the SD Power Ranger, MVP is pushed too much already as well However, I do realize that they are grooming him to be the next Rock and Morrison to be the next HBK so we will have to wait and see what happens with it.

They have already been tag team champions and held it for nearly a year before losing it to Deuce and Domino.

Oh, I definitely knew that. I was going by your standards of a push. But they also got pulled off for a bit because Paul spoiled the Ashley on Survivor thing on accident.
