In my version, those are Chocobo feathers. <img src="/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> For reference: I use Chocobo FEATHERS for Autohaste and Chocobo TAILS ( <img src="/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> ) for First Strike.

Hmm.In my game he doesn't always do wakizashi.Anyway...Is there any chance of killing him with Aeons' Overdrives??? <img src="/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

- This seems to be too tough. A possible strategy is:
* First fight: Summon Yojimbo with his overdrive full. Try to get Zanmato.
* Second Fight: Summon Yojimbo in Yuna's overdrive. Try to get Zanmato.
* Third, fourth and fith fights: hold on till you can Entrust an overdrive to Yuna. Need three characters to have this ability.

It might be possible, but:
* Valefor, Ifrit, Ixion, Shiva and Bahamut will do 99999 damage at maximum.
* Anima will make many hits with 99999 each at maximum. That will be around 1.000.000 damage.
* Magus Sisters do some 25.000 damage x6, so, 150.000 damage more or less. They can also stand for some 5 turns ans if things don't get ugly, deal some 100.000 more.
* Well, and Yojimbo kills in one hit with Zanmato.

So, as a result, using ALL Aeons' overdrives you could do some 1.700.000 - 2.000.000 at most. There was a post here telling how much HP Dark Aeons have. Yojimbo didn't appear, but it started with Valefor (800.000) and ended with Anima (8.000.000), so Yojimbo should have around 6.000.000 I think. I'm not positive about that though.

- OK, some good news. Entrust seems to work. You need to be careful planning your moves, since each takes a specific amount of "speed". A had Autohaste on Yuna and through carefull character switching and right moves, I did manage Auron to Entrust Yuna, and then summoned Yojimbo. I paid him and he did Wakizashi, but that's a different story.

- Some more good news. Dark Yojimbo seems to have 2.000.000 HP at most. Because all aeons overdrives, did enough damage to make him "tired" if you know what I mean. My Anima did around 160.000, Magus Sisters - 150.000, five basic Aeons - 99999 each, and Yojimbo's Wakizashi did around 50.000. So it's around 2.000.000 or lower.

- He seems to be imune to physical attacks, because characters with highest stats miss. Double Black Magic works good. Leveling Lulu up to Yuna and have them do that, might be the key.

- Don't know the name of the spell, it's the strongest of all Black ones, it deals some 20.000 of damage x2 makes it 40.000, Lulu can do the same or even more if leveled, so it makes it 80.000 - 100.000 per turn, not bad.

- Autolife on Auron and Autophoenix on his armour seems to work. Still, Atohaste is VERY recommended. My Yuna has it and DOES get quite a few turns. Casting "Haste++" helps, but is more "expensive", as you need to do it each time a character dies, which happens a lot.

- As you have 8 Aeons in all, you can summon them one by one when you see that his Zanmato bar is full. As there is a save sphere in the cave, you can restore all your Aeons. I think that if done properly, you can kill him before he gets his ninth overdrive full.

- I've tried deathward, Zanmato now does DAMAGE instead of instant "without damage" death. It does 99999, but Autolife still doesn't work, so I guess that you can't resist it.

Hey.I DO have good news!He has 1,600,000 HP so it's not difficult to beat him with strength!

-Normal Aeons' Overdrives->100,000 x5=500,000
-Yojimbo does 50,000 x2 =100,000
-Anima does (I think) 30,000 x15=450,000
-Magus Sisters->20 x10=200,000

That means that U can inflict on him a damage of 1,250,000 HP!!! Now Lulu has to do the rest.Ultima does a lot of damage!

But using Zanmato is much better.I've trained him a lot and raised his motivation lvl.It must be about 160.I think than paying him 10,000Gil is the best when u raise him.

Guys i dont wish to be annoying but anima does ALOT more damage with his overdrive, he does between the 21 and 23 hits ( not sure ) and that times 99999 is 2.3 million or so, that means one overdrive of anima should be enough, also my other aeons ( valefor, ifrit etc ) do a max of 9999, my yuna has her legendary weapon and they still only hit a max of 9999 so i dunno whats up with that

and dont tell me that anima is weaker becuz i tried against yojimbo last night and i killed him with one overdrive of anima <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Could be becuz i trained my anima like crazy but <img src="/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />

also i dont want auto-haste ( yeh i want it but i mean something lese ) i wanna teach my anima ( and others ) haste so theyre faster and in my version chocobo feathers are required for that, so could anyone please tell me where to get those <img src="/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

also you tried auto-life with auron, well thats not very smart cuz auron is the slowest member in your party ( well i dunno how you trained him but after rikkus path hes still kind of slow ) so you wont get a turn when hes revived, maybe you should try auto-life with someone that has auto-haste so they have haste after they are revived

I have Anima and Yuna maxed out, but Anima will NOT do THAT amount of damage. Dark Aeons are very resistant.

I know it wont do that kind of damage im only saying thats his max while you guys are saying that 160000 is his max, also i did overkill one yojimbo with an overdrive from anima, dont start tellin me its not possible becuz i did it myself
