So what do you think of the season so far? Anybody watching??

I love this show! Wondered how they were going to follow last year, but now seems he's having a problem taking out the bad guys--lol, plus they found his stash in the ocean. Can't wait until next week!

Dexter rocks. I cannot believe they found his stash of bodies in the ocean. Now with Keith Carradine there it should really make for an interesting show.

I am glad he finally found a way to kill that gang banger and dispose of his body.

Think he will eventually kill Carradine if he gets too close? Will he eventually kill that detective who is always following him?

Not if he holds true to his "values", i.e. killing only the worst criminal who have beat the rap. Of course, I guess he could rationalize killing the cop and Carradine by considering the greater good that he accomplishes by ridding society of the worst criminals.

I watched the first episode of the new season on OnDemand. It's incredibly well done, but I think it's a bit too grisly for me. I think I was expecting it to be more comedic. Although, it has left me quite curious to see what happens, so I may end up sticking with it! smile

It IS grisly, you're right. It's such an interesting combination to me--it's not laugh out loud funny, of course, but it is a satire/drama and can be very amusing as you get used to the characters.

One other thing, Danielle--you should probably watch the first season. This season relies on you knowing Dexter's background. You can still watch and enjoy it, but it's much richer if you know everything that happened last year. You might want to consider it.

I think I will do that! There were some clues given in the first episode of this season that really piqued my curiosity, so I think I'll definitely add season 1 to the Netflix queue before making any final judgments! Thanks for the recommendation! smile
