12.04.07 6:15a I am sick of this plugged duct. The pain from nursing is becoming unbearable. It's spreading and I'm doing all I can. This is the third one and it seems to be the worst one yet. I can't wait to be able to get the meds to prevent this from happening again, but until then, I cry before I nurse and while I am nursing because it hurts like hell. PLUGGED DUCT??!!??? It's spreading?!? Holy krap that sounds like fun.

Plugged duct? Ummm....maybe it's time to feed the baby a bottle of infant formula. It's not going to kill them, for goodness sake!

Plugged duct? Ummm....maybe it's time to feed the baby a bottle of infant formula. It's not going to kill them, for goodness sake! I completely agree. If she can't breastfeed without severe pain and/or medication, she should give the kid a bottle. Women who can't nurse for whatever reason are why the formula option exists. I want to smack her on the back of the head and say "Duh, moron!"
