We need to meet those mothers!!! There was another confession that I noticed along the lines of "I gave my husband this baby and thought it would be different when it was my own. Now I'm unhappy & resent the child & my husband isn't happy either".

The tmc site should be recommended reading in high school so that they can see a) There is a choice, so you don't have to be a parent b) Parenting is hard work.

Here's another one:

"I wanted to get an abortion but I didn't because I was always told that it's murder. My son is now three and I hate him just as much as I did the day I learned I was pregnant. That's the last time I will ever let anyone make up my mind for me again." (me too 15)

It seems that some mothers do protest too much:

"i tell my sister about the 'joys' of parenthood to cover up how much i hate not having a life of my own anymore. i am jealous of her childfree lifestyle and i wish i would have listened to her advice when i was a teenager.

there's only so many times i can answer the question 'why?' in a day without wanting to slip my son a sleeping tablet or three." (me too 5)

I hate that I love reading that site. It's like Jerry Springer to me. There are so many train wreck posts. Eeek, what an aweful guilty pleasure

Oh dear...poor kids! I'd like to think that I am doing my would-be kids a favour by not turning into these parents...
