Want to go! That's what comes to mind.

We're planning a 3-month trip to Europe when our daughter graduates from high school (a reward for her efforts and one last family getaway all together) and Spain is top of the "must do" list (along with a walking tour in Northern England and a cruise in Greek Islands!).

Food comes next. Love paella.

Cheers,
Megan

Being able to let the kids play until 11:00 PM or later in the plaza and around the fountains without anybody batting an eye.

Hey Rosie - that's always a good one.

FOOD.

Megan - shout if you're heading my way. I'm about 1.5 hours from both Cordoba and Granada, near Jaen.

Sylvia - and later still, our town fiesta ends with fireworks around 2am and the kids are still there.

What I also love is seeing the family groups, teenagers with their girlfriends/boyfriends, parents, grandparents, grandchildren - it's so good to watch the interaction and the kids amongst them all.

Hmmm, when I think of Spain the first thing that comes to mind are the olive trees, that first come into view as the airplane descends to the runway outside of Madrid.

I miss that country, terribly and can't wait until I can visit again.
