The 6th Yucatan Bird Festival, to take place Nov 29-Dec 2, 2007, besides challenging the best of the local and international birders, will also feature an event for beginning birders.
This year focuses on the birds related to Mayan culture. There are 543 species catalogued in Yucatan, with over 10 endemic.
The sites will be Merida and Izamal.
