Has anyone ever tried making a dip using cream cheese as your base. Its really good, I thought it would be good for a party idea.

1 pkg. (8 oz.) Philadelphia Cream Cheese, softened
1 pkg. (6 oz.) Oven Roasted Chicken Breast Cuts
1/2 cup Buffalo wing sauce
1/4 cup blue cheese crumbles
1/4 cup sliced green onions

SPREAD cream cheese onto bottom of microwaveable 9-inch pie plate. Mix chicken and sauce; spoon over cream cheese. Sprinkle with blue cheese and onions.

MICROWAVE on HIGH 2 min.or until heated through.

SERVE warm with celery sticks and snack crackers.

That recipe looks really good, I am going to try it. I love Buffalo wings.

I have a friend who used to make a dip with cream cheese, picante sauce and chili powder and you dip tortilla chips in it, that was good also.

I had the dip my friend makes one time where they had taken flour tortillas, smoothed a layer on the tortillas, rolled them into a roll and cut them into little pinwheels and served them with Picante to dip them in, that was really good as well.

I am going to bookmark that website. I love recipes like that.

That sounds really good that would be a good finger food item at a small gathering. The philly whipped cream cheese is really good for dipping it comes in chive flavor that might go well with some snacks.

I used to work in a gourmet kitchen store. One time we did a demo to see Calphalon cookware. They made omelets with herbed cream cheese. They were SO good, I couldn't believe it.

What was life like before cream cheese?

Yeah tell me about. It truly is delicious.

I'm not sure if you noticed but there is Philly Neufchatel 1/3 Less Fat Cream Cheese if that does anything for you.

Here is a link to that.
