I ended up with a very friendly Male surgeon...who is 31 and is happy to be CF..he is a bit cynical and feels that he is saving the world one vasectomy at a time...but it worked in my favor.
That's great! I agree that he should get his name out there, that he will perform a vasectomy, and doesn't have an agenda. It is hard to find a doctor that sees things our way sometimes. My gyn has made comments here and there when I've asked her questions about birth control. And she waves her hand, and says, "and if you get pregnant, you can take care of it." That's easy for her to say, because she wouldn't be the one going through the physical or emotional ordeal. I think over time doctors might even recognize a niche market in CF people, and specialize in vasectomies.
