I just got a new sewing machine (it is Euro-pro shark automatic model 8260) The bobbin was pre set and when I first started using it it worked great but when i had to change the bobbin i can not get it to thread right. the needle threat keeps getting jammed the manual has not been helpful any thoughts on what I should do?

Does the company have a toll-free number you can call?

Don't hit me, but are you positive you've got it threaded correctly? I know that's usually my problem when the machine appears not to be running correctly.

If you're sure it's threaded correctly, another thing that has given me problems before is the tension setting. Just make VERY gradual adjustments in the tension setting and see if things improve. If they don't, reset the tension to its original position.

Something else, is there anything different about the fabric you're using now versus what you've used before? If so, you may want to try a different size needle.

Just some thoughts. Hope they help.

You may have solved your machine problem by now, I don't know. However, in all my 50+ years of sewing the problem you describe occurs only when there is a threading problem.
For you, I would suggest that you check the direction the bobbin is turning-i.e. is it clockwise or counterclockwise? Most machines go clockwise. A few do not. Check how you are putting that bobbin into the bobbin case to see if it makes a difference.
