Here are mine in brief:

AL East: Yankees
AL Central: Tigers
AL West: Angels

NL East: Mets
NL Central: Cubs

I predict the New York Yankees will win the World Series in 2007 because I make the same prediction every year.

I was hoping the Yankees would offer Bernie Williams the same deal they gave him last year. it looks like it may not happen. Bernie may have another year or two in him, but it seems anticlimactic to finish with another team after 16 years with the Yankees. Bottom line, baseball is a tough business, and the past is the past.

Fair enough Jim, but I'd like to see your extended predictions. Who do you think will win the other divisions?

When do you think we'll see Phil Hughes come up and play for the big club?

This is the Tigers year to win the Series!!!!!! My 6-year-old son is getting into watching games with me, and I would love for him to have the excitment I did when I was 8 and watched them win the Series in '84.

How do you come up with the red Sox beating the Cubs, when you haven't picked the Sox to win their division?

The Sox will win the Wild Card (yet again). In fact, the majority of Word Series winners in the last 6 years have been wild card teams.

Looks like I only got two out of six of my predictions (LAA and Cubs). I had the Sox winning the wild card and the Yankees winning the division, so I was close on those. There's still a chance for my Sox-Cubs World Series.

It's great to see the Phillies pulling away from the Mets. They have a great baseball town with great fans.
