It's two weeks before pitchers and catchers report to spring training 2007. The Red Sox have made some upgrades and spent a lot of money. In fact, they've spent a foolish amount of money trying to be Yankees-lite.
What do you think their chances are this year? Will they be injury plagued again? Will they find a closer or have to bring Papelbon back into the role? Is Matsuzaka the real deal?

With the season ready to start tomorrow, the Sox look OK. On the positive side, Dice-K is looking good as are Drew, Ortiz and manny. On the negative side, Pedroia, Varitek and Crisp are cause for concern and the Sox are essentially one starter short with Lester on the DL recovering from chemo.
Papelbon is back in the closer role.
What do you think ?????????

Just happy they are not starting tomorrow! I don't think it would be a good thing for the Red Sox to start on April Fools Day!  Like every Boston fan I think they will do great this year! (Ask me again in a few months...)

Daisuke Matsuzaka turned in another quality start against Toronto - 10 strike outs, 2 runs scored - and again came up the loser because the Sox aren't giving him any run support.

The Red Sox have taken the Division from the Yankees, following New York's 10th inning loss in Baltimore. On to the post season where these two teams may see each other again.

 It is much better than the Next Generation, but why there is no film made? I would definitely go and watch the movie and I believe would do so too.
