I was reading a piece in Mary Claire magazine and the cover girl, Jennifer Garner, said how she loved breastfeeding b/c it gave her a sense of purpose.
She's really simple if that's what gives her a sense of purpose. My thing is, why do we have to spend so much time talking about it? Why on earth was she talking about breastfeeding during an interview? They are interviewing her b/c she is an actress, not b/c she breastfeeds. It's personal, it's like talking about your bathroom habits. It's private, and no one cares!!!
On a somewhat related note, when people ask us the very personal question of whether we want kids, maybe we should ask them about whether they breastfed their children, or how regular they are.
