Might be interesting to some.
Britney Spears gushed about motherhood initially, apparently, but now seems to find it not as easy as she thought so it seems and has to take parenting classes! (Maybe it DOESN'T always come naturally?)

Oops!

I leave the child-rearing to people who feel called to it. I've never felt that call.

Indeed. I think she is a prime example of how even the rich and famous (perhaps especially!) in our culture are duped into thinking that motherhood is relatively easy and babies are one more accessory to their lifestyle.

She can't even take care of herself - how can she take care of small children?! I feel so sorry for her kids. She's really in a bad way. But I wish more people could get parenting coaches. But, it seems like the people that are the worst parents aren't self aware, and would never get help. They are too busy getting wasted to really reflect on their lives. Probably on some level they know things aren't right, which is why they get wasted in the first place.

I've seen that in life in general, the people that deal with effed up family members, friends are the ones that are in therapy. And the majorly dysfunctional person fails to get help.

I feel bad for her and for her kids too. God knows who she is surrounding herself with. Celebrity status and wealth can draw the leeches. I hope she is getting some kind of good advice from someone who genuinely cares for her. And hopefully she'll take it in getting her life back together again.

Exactly, Lisa! I was actually thinking the other day that maybe she should just top herself, and put the world out of its misery ...

Apparently she was upset at the VMAs because people were making fun of her kids. Um, Britney, they were making fun of YOU.

I never understood the whole Britney thing in the first place. Great for teeny boppers, I guess. She's way past that stage. It's time for her to grow up.

As my husband says, you must be pretty screwed up to lose custody to Kevin Federline.

I just have to say that if my daughter was running around acting the fool, I don't care her age or how much money she has, I would snatch her back so fast she wouldn't know what hit her. She should never have had children if all she was going to do is pawn them off on employees.

With the money she has, I can think of a thousand fun things to do with your children, life would be one continuous shopping trip for toys and kid adventures.

Instead she looks and acts like a crack whore. Do the people around her just say what she wants to hear because she holds the purse strings? Even her own parents?

If anything should wake her up, its having her children handed over to KFed. AND your right, what kind of Mother do you have to be the KFed looks like a better option?
