I live in Florida, 2004 was my first experience with hurricanes. I have to say and I say it each year, thank god its not another year like 2004.
However, I do feel like I can cope better now then I did back then. I had no idea what to expect and was almost beside myself with fear.
Its just my daughter and I and I did my best to act like the hurricanes were not as frightening as they really were.
