Anyone know any good CF magazines? I was looking for something non-taxing to read while I'm sick and all the magazines, even the specialty ones (fitness, decorating) seemed to devote a lot of their articles to kids. "Get in shape after your baby!" "Find time to work out while your kids are at soccer practice!" "Make your kids room cozy and fun!" and so on. Any thoughts or suggestions on where I can find something CF friendly?

Thanks!

I'm CF, I mainly read National Geographic, Martha's Body and Soul magazine and Smart Money. Not very CF specific I suppose, but I don't recall reading any child centered articles in them either. There may occasionally be one and I just skip it wihout thinking, but I can't recall any.

I also love the more gourmet type food and wine magazines. Usually they aren't child centered at all, since I'm sure kids wouldn't enjoy most of the receipes anyway.

National Geographic Traveller and Budget Travel are my faves. I rarely see articles in there about involving kids. Traveller is definitely meant for the upwardly mobile, I read that to dream, and Budget Travel is my reality :-)

Oprah herself is childfree (yay!), and I find that her magazine isn't overly concerned with babies.

I love O Magazine, actually. I guess I should have mentioned that! I find that magazine a cut above other ladies magazines anyway, and you're right, mophead, they definitely don't focus on kiddies so much. Thanks for the recs everyone!

A further question: are there magazines dedicated solely to CF?

We get the Atlantic and the New Yorker. Both hubby and I enjoy those magazines. I don't think I've EVER seen anything child-related in those.

I do also get Good Housekeeping, Family Circle and Better Homes and Gardens but I tend to skip over the child-centric stuff.
