Many people think of the Northeastern United States when they think of beautiful fall colors. But even the "Evergreen State" has beautiful fall foliage.
Where do you like to see the leaves changing on the West Coast?

I lived in Oregon for many years off and on and southern Oregon has lots of fall foliage now. It didn't used to be that way but the pine trees are dying of pine beetle and when a forest burns, they don't plant new trees anymore so the ones which grow instead are trees with foliage, more shrubby ones, that change color.
I can remember as a kid growing up we had only evergreen trees and very little fall colors but these days it's different.
The fall is beautiful in Oregon.
here in TX it depends on how much rain we get in the summer. The first year we were here it barely rained at all and there was very little fall colors.
I live in Oregon, and you're right, joanj, Fall in Oregon is gorgeous! Our trees haven't turned yet, but they're getting ready to, and I'll then have to get ready to start raking! lol
