What's "in" for fall shoes? I worked from home last fall/winter, and now I realize I have no shoes that are work appropriate for the colder months. I want something comfy, so I've been checking out the Easy Spirit website- What do you think about these?

Excellent choice! They look very comfortable as well as warm for those cold winter months ahead. I like them a lot. Think I will get on the Easy Spirit website myself and check out what they have.

They look cute and comfy, but i don't know about the open heel, guess it depends on how much you are out & about in winter.

lace up booties are in, grey metallics, textures & fabrics

were you looking for something with a heel or wedge?

Initially I was thinking a wedge, because I figured it would give me some height, but still be a little more comfortable. I could go either way though. I think the ES clogs are cute, but I haven't gone to the store to try them on yet. Any other suggestions while I'm out shoe shopping?

i think for fall those are great! I would also maybe look into the mid-ankle boots either in a wedge or kitten heel that'll give you height without breaking your back. Just don't go shopping for shoes first thing in the morning!

Thanks for the tips- I was poking around on their website and I noticed they have a mid-ankle boot that's very similar to the clogs I like, so I'll definitely try them both out.

Anastasia- why shouldn't you go shopping for shoes first thing in the morning?

hi stephanie,

reason is that your feet are their normal size after walking around all day your feet tend to swell, so what started off as the most comfortable pair of shoes ever ends up being the pair u cant wait to throw out!

I LOVE SHOES!

Boots are always great for fall.

A shoe with a tread would be useful for those winter icy patches.

Harper's Bazaar suggests a combo of fuchsia/black or crystal & black. I took their advice, and I'm carrying 2 pairs of fashion shoes of similar style: BigBeautifulButterfly.

Any type of heel or wedge automatically elongates the leg and gives the wearer a slimmer appearance.

Good luck to you!
