Wow, those chocolate truffles sound great. Isn't Fredericton where the Univ of New Brunswick is located? Where else can you recommend in Fredericton that a visitor could go to and learn a craft?

I think that Ted Williams used to fish up in that area, the Mirimachi River. Did you go there?

Yes, and I kayaked right past Ted's old camp! I learned to cast downstream from his favorite pool, too. The Miramichi is heaven -- and will be the subject of a future post.

Fredericton is filled with learning possibilities, including art lessons for children or adults at the Beaverbrook Art Gallery and hands-on learning programs at King's Landing, an historic museum village north of the city. I learned to use a spinning wheel there in one afternoon.
