Has anyone had any fall games yet? How does fall ball work where you are?

We have several tournaments here, but there is a local parks and recreation softball league that offers a flexible schedule for teams 8u and up. Each coach calls in by Monday and reserves the number of games that they would like to play and the director matches them up with other teams and usually sends the schedules out by Wednesday. Each game is $25 a team. It provides a lot of scheduling flexibility. Does anyone else have a system in place like this?

We have "Berliner Park" in Columbus, Ohio. It's part of our Parks and Recreation program. And, I believe they might have cancelled a game or at least half a game this week because of the weather. Not bad weather, hot weather. For some odd reason, our Dog Days of August have returned to September. They have even cancelled school one day and let out early on others.
