I'm starting a list of places to get beautiful healing music for Reiki and meditation/relaxation.

Ive just found New Earth Records and they have a nice sized collection of music, with sections like Healing and Wellness and Yoga and Bodywork. Check em out:

Hi there, thanks for an interesting post. I have a range of New Age music. I like to conduct healings to music by Llewyllyn, Midori and Medwyn Goodall. They all produce soothing sounds that it is easy to relax too. For listening in a more upbeat mood for my own benefit I like Gabrielle Roth- and sometimes I just have to dance! Jai Uttal's 'Footprints' is wonderful too.

I've had a membership to emusic for a while- you can download a certain number of tracks per month according to your subscription. They have a good New Age section: E Music New Age Genre

I had to remove the section you took from the other site, as although you acknowledged it was theirs it still technically infringes copyright to do this- best to just link to the review and let people click on the link smile

Oooh, thanks for the recommendations! I loove Jai Uttal -- and I've read Gabrielle Roth, but have never heard her music.

I just got the Dechen Shak-Dagsay album called Compassion.

Very relaxing and soothing. Her vocals are so serene. Very healing music.

It has beautiful mantra singing with flutes, the piano, singing bowls and a tanpura (Indian drone instrument).

Here are audio samples (you have to scroll down to see it looks like something is up with the website design):

Update - update! smile

I just got a copy of Love & Peace by Lisa Lynne and George Tortorelli. Its such a beautiful mixture of the celtic harp and the bamboo flutevery ancient sounding, but also peaceful and tranquil. Very healing music. Perfect for massage, yoga, reiki and just relaxin by the fire. Im enjoying it very much.

Here are some samples (it looks like a blank page, but you have to scroll down a bit):
