After 25 years working for a company I was laid off in March. I am still searching for work with no luck. The best I can hope for is temp work or possibly temp to perm. I'm not sure if so far no one really hires throught the summer or if it is really my age (60). I still need to work before I am able to retire if ever. I have lost excelent benefits along with health insurance which I never had to worry about (blessed with good health)but can't go with out. Everyone tht looks at my resume tells me I have excellent skills so why no job offers. Makes you wonder.
