Hmm!That fu*&^&g original!The ones that have to fight him SUCK and I'm bored of fighting Don Tonberry and generally using the trick to raise 'em.Any ideas???

Are you talking about that irritating monster in the circular pool right before the temple room to get anima? The one that does stone punch?

Here are a couple of ideas, if you fight the one I think you fight. First of all, make sure that when you kill there is NOONE inside his chest cage, else he'll spit him/ her out and kill everyone. If you see that it has few HP left and there is someone trapped in it, then just miss his/ her turn (guard). Use Rikku to use Al-Bhed Remedy on everyone, or any other healing potions. As far as I can remember, the thing has around 30000 HP. When it goes bellow 10000, you better finish him with one move, with Wakka's overdrive perhaps. And you'll need armour that prevents you from turning into stone on Rikku, Tidus and Wakka. That's the way I did it, anyway. The key point is not to kill it when someone is trapped inside.

Are you talking about the one AINTD described in front of Baaj temple (underwater) or an original at the arena that's under water? <is a little confused> Anyway, the only tips would be general stuf fin either case, have all three up to overdrive, caste hastega. Can't say much more than that because my Tidus, Wakka nd Rikku never sucked and Rikku has gotten to be a fairly strong fighter as well as a fairly good magic user... If they are too low in your game you're not gonna be able to get around levelling them up, I don't think

beating shinru is easy...al you need to do is get your tidus or wakka strong and have there celestial weapons,i use tidus cuz wakka is rubbish

anyway at the start of the battle have tidus kill off wakka and rikku so now shinryu cant use his eraser attack

if tidus has the coladborg (spelling?) then he will counter attack all of shinryus attacks except for the shining

but shinryu also counters, cast haste on tidus and use quick hits when you have the chance

once your limit is full just use blitz ace

also try not to let your hp drop to beneth 8,000
