Thank you for the link! I enjoyed reading the article as well as the different responses.
It is imperative we overcome the misunderstandings related to gifted children, gifted education, etc. Without educating others to the unique needs/differences of gifted children the pervasive argument will continue.

What an excellent resource! I love the "gifted yard" analogy.

I'm glad that you both enjoyed the blog. I'll be keeping an eye on it, as I really appreciate the way she explains the concept of gifted.

EXCELLENT blog!
i will continue to visit and probably refer relatives that have questioned the word 'gifted' and our choices for our son's schooling. it answers some very typical questions more eloquently than i have often been able to do.
