Heading into September, we start to think about routine and getting organized. Does anyone have new or favorite tricks to share?

The last weeks of August, for us are spent going through dressers and closets, from the bedrooms, to bath, and kitchen. This way the unused is removed, and I get to see exactly what we need to start the school year "organized."

I love rubbermaid for getting organized. The drawers are great in the mudroom for all the winter gear and I keep the toys that end up in the living room there as well. When my daughter wants to do some arts n crafts I wheel out the arts and crafts drawers and away she goes. My mudroom is very small so I needed something that stacked and didn't take up a huge amount of floor space.
