Summer is almost over, but it's not too late to get in a fun trip before school starts.

My brother and his family just took a 2-day jaunt down to Santa Cruz and Monterey.

My family and I are about to set out on a week and a half road trip to Grandma's house.

What are some of your favorite West Coast late summer get-aways?

Hi,

After 7 years of full-time RVing I've been north, south, east, west and many, many places in between. Without a doubt, and in concurrence with Tony Bennett, San Francisco is the place (among perhaps 3 others in the whole US) where I'll leave my heart.

Marin County is amazing...Point Reyes National Seashore, Village Music in Mill Valley (10 mins north of the Golden Gate Bridge), the Palace of the Arts in the Marina District, lattes at Cafe Trieste in North Beach...the beauty and variety of things to do and people here astounds me.

Now, how can I finagle a furnished apartment in the Marina District next summer???

A girl can dream, right?? :>

We just came back from B.C. It was both my first RV trip and my first time seeing the West Coast of Canada and the mountains. It was phenomenal. If you want to see some of my pics/videos I have them posted on my blog (scroll down a bit).

I live in Oregon and have a house at the Oregon coast. I highly recommend it as a vacation spot, but if you hate rain, summer is your best bet. Our house in on the central Oregon coast in the Lincoln City area.

We also like to RV and took a three-week trip last February to California and Las Vegas. Spent most of our time in Monterey and absolutely loved it! That is beautiful country down there as well.

Moe, we love Vancouver BC. What a beautiful city!
