Do you guys remember the band Collective Soul? Well i was going through some memorabilia last night and i found three of their cds, i loved them in high school and it brought back so many memories! I heard that they are coming out with a new album called Afterwords on August 28th, i can't wait to get it! I saw on their myspace page that it will be sold at target stores and itunes, but their new single "hollywood" is on itunes now. I have been listening to their last album Youth at my work (umg) all today and i can't wait to get the new one! I hope you guys have the chance to check them out, their myspace page is pretty cool.

Collective Soul is a good band. I also like "Toad the Wet Sprocket".

I actually have 2 articles on the Classical Music site about Collective Soul - from where they performed and recorded with the Atlanta Youth Symphony Orchestra. The album and DVD are entitled "HOME" - 'cause they are from here. (Well, a little south of Atlanta in a town called Woodstock).

The CD/DVD combo is really great - the performance was amazing! I got to see a replay of it live when they came back to Atlanta for the kickoff of the album, (lucky me- those guys are cute!!!!)
